Our beloved husband, son, father, brother, and friend left us on December 4, 2025, after a long and valiant battle with renal cell carcinoma. He didn’t want to leave the love of his life, his wife Rande, or his children, who were his pride and joy. He was often heard saying that his family was the thing he was most proud of.
Blake was born on November 23, 1984, to Lori N. Foote and William Keith Boyack in Los Angeles, California. He lived in Los Angeles with his family until age 11, when they moved to Sandy, Utah. Blake had a tender heart and was always looking out for the underdog. He was a natural athlete and loved working out. He also loved succulents and planting with his kids.
In 2010, he married Kellie McAllister (later divorced), and he became a father to Kyjia Boyack. Together they later welcomed Daltrey Boyack. Blake and Kellie eventually divorced but remained good friends and co-parents.
Blake met the love of his life, Rande in 2014, and they married in July 2022. He was a bonus dad to Rande’s daughter Ellie, and they welcomed their son Harrison Boyack in July of 2023.
Blake loved to learn. He loved music and sharing it with his brother and his boys. He was very funny with a great sense of humor. He was curious about many subjects and was a man of integrity. He was a loyal and true friend. He was sentimental and deeply loved his wife. Special recognition goes to Rande, who cared for him tirelessly and whom he often described as “my backbone — I couldn’t do this without her.”
Blake is survived by his wife, Rande Boyack; his sons, Kyjia, Daltrey, and Harrison; and his daughter, Ellie. He is also survived by his mother, Lori Boyack; his siblings, Marisa Boyack, Lauren Faez (Mani), Blaire Boyack, and Garrett Boyack (Sierra); and his grandmother, Julie Flury, as well as many cousins, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his father, William (“Bill”) Boyack, grandparents Bob and Mary Boyack, and Daniel Foote.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 13th, 11:00 am, at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (106th South), Sandy, Utah 84092. A visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the funeral.
In lieu of flowers, monetary donations can be made to Rande to help cover medical costs.
