1940 ~ 2025
Brent Lee Naylor born October 11th, 1940, in Salt Lake City Utah, left this earth on October 8th, 2025. He passed peacefully from his home through the heavens above to be joined together again with the love of his life, Gayle Mary Parks Naylor, his beautiful wife of 56 years. He was the pinnacle of strength to his two sons and their wives, Rick, Lisa, Darren and Tammie. He was the fun-loving “Grandpa Brent” of Natalie, Michelle, Ashlie, Corbin, Duncan, Nick and Mitchell as well as a special “Pappy” to his great grandchildren Ricki Lynn, Cowan, Oren, Markus and Ronald plus a friend to his furry companion, Luna. His love for the outdoors was apparent with his adventurous country lifestyle spanning from camping and off-road riding through the mountains to observing wild horses out on the deserts of Utah. We are grateful for the precious memories we have shared over his lifetime and hold them in our hearts forever and always. As we remember the good times together in a celebration of his life, services will be held with a quiet intimate family gathering.
Rick I’m sorry to hear about the passing of your dad. Please accept my condolences.
Uncle Brent drove all the way to Boise in March to see my dad,and his brother, Marlow, when he was dying in the hospital. He made it in time to spend some time with Dad and they enjoyed that reunion. Now, they are reunited again. Brent was happy and friendly whenever he came to visit. He was just like his brothers who would show service and kindness with all. He was a great man and we wish the family well.
We are sad to hear of the passing of your WONDERFUL father, our Uncle Brent! Every time I saw him he had a smile on his face and a laugh in his voice. Our family will never forget how Uncle Brent with only one eye working he jumped in his RV with his dog aboard and headed non stop to Boise to see our Dad during the last days of his life. He blessed our Dads life so much especially with his trips passing Boise and stopping in to see our Dad Marlow Eugene Naylor. I also remember your dear mother and and her kindness always. If your ever passing by Boise Idaho, you and all of your family will always have a place to stay over night on your travels. We would love to share our wonderful stories of your Dad! Uncle Brent was always a very giving person I know to his neighbors and everyone he would meet. email me and I will forward pictures ;) boisebart@gmail.com

I will miss our chaps when I see him walking Luna.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the families.
Rick and Darren-so sorry for your loss. We have so many fond memories of your dad. Always a huge smile and a wave at a minimum. Loved his landscaping and chatting.
Rick and Darren, I am sorry to hear about your Dad. So glad he came to see us in Syracuse a time back. Have such fun and happy memories when we were younger staying at Aunt Toot’s house for a visit from NY. Always a smile and a story to make you chuckle. Heart of gold especially when it came to Gayle. They are together again. Sympathy to you and your families.

Rick and Darren and families, Sad to hear of Brent passing. Your father was a joy to be with. He had a laugh to remember and always had stories to tell. Our last visit out west was in the backyard having pizza and beer talking the day away. I guess the gift of gab was a Beauregard trait.
Our sympathy to everyone.

Dear Rick & Lisa, Darren & Tammie and families,
So very sorry of your dads' passing. What an awesome guy! All his family from the West to the East coast was surely blessed. Brent, over the years, became my "big brother." The brother that I never had. He was witty, his smile contagious, most kind and would give you the shirt off his back to lend a helping hand. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Myself and my family, here in Syracuse, NY grew up taking frequent road trips to Salt Lake City to visit our relatives. Even after being married, our visits to the West continued... the last of which was 2 years ago. I will treasure those memories that will forever be in my heart. I am hoping your memories of special times will bring you strength and comfort.
With love and deepest sympathy,
Jackie & Bill (Schumacher) Guercio
