My heart aches and my mind is still trying to process this. Brian was my good friend and brother and I loved him. He made me laugh all the time. No matter how much time passed in seeing each other, when we did connect we picked up right where we left off. Brian was honest with me and he never hid his struggle in overcoming this side of the kingdom. He would call me periodically to just catch up and to check in on my husband Aaron. He was thoughtful and kind in that way. Wayne, Walter, Ray and Kevin I love you guys and I'm praying for the entire family. May the Lord bless and keep you, may He make his face shine upon you and grant you peace at this difficult time. I love you all. Bev
To the Hesleph family,
Brian was like family to us too. He played that piano and organization like know other and had the patience of Jesus when the choir had to learn a song. We will miss his bright smile but he will forever be in our hearts. We're thinking about all the family and may God comfort you and protect you during the difficult days ahead. Our sincerest condolences. Rest well my friend Brian.

To the Hesleph Family. ..I’m praying with you as you grieve the passing of Brian. I will always remember his voice. “Your Grace and Mercy” and “The Potter Wants to Put You Back Together Again” are ringing in my ears. May God give you strength and grant you peace.💕💕💕
My "Bishop!"!! My dear partner in service, my heart is broken and I will sincerely miss you. I am praying for my family, the Heslephs/Rowlettes and Calvary; and I treasure the precious memories of Brian, his smile, his voice and gifts, and his mentorship to me. He always made a place for me to serve and protected me and encouraged me. It can be very intimidating leading the mass choir and he always supported me while voluntelling me lol. Sending love and prayers to you all and Brian is deeply missed. I am blessed to have known him. May the God of all comfort be your strength and peace. Take your rest "Bishop". Love, Your Missionary!

I am really at a loss of words because we had a close friendship and was each others sounding boards when it came to choir music. Your talent is Legendary and you know exactly how to bring out the best in someone. When I would sing, somehow you knew exactly where I was going without me even telling him. When Brian would play the piano in church service and makes a small change in the chords he would look at me and laugh. MAN I am going to miss one of my favorite piano players. I cannot thank you enough for your friendship. You are my Brother and will always be in my heart. Until we meet again OH and Save a spot in the Heavenly Choir for me.

My condolences to the friends and the family of Brian. He will be greatly missed however he loved the Lord with all his heart. And I know he is in the Kingdom of heaven at this time. I knew him from Union Baptist Church in the early days as I sang in the choir and he was the choir director. And he was a very wonderful person and a wonderful musician. Although I left the country and later life I will never forget Brian who started me on my musical journey. Rest in heaven!
