Carol Ann Goode Rogozinski, beloved mother, grandmother, daughter and sister, passed away peacefully April 30, 2025 at her home after a courageous two time battle with breast cancer.
Carol was born on July 4, 1964 in Fort Huachuca, Arizona to mother Dorothy Mae Foy, father Billy Roy Brothers and step father Aulander Goode. Carol had one daughter, Eboni, and one grandson, Mason, both of whom she loved dearly and were her greatest joys in life.
Carol was an amazing woman with so many passions, with the ability to make friends with everyone she encountered and leaving such an impact on those in her life. She was a natural leader and caring individual. Growing up with 4 siblings, Carol was the middle child and cared deeply for her older and younger siblings. She was a loving aunt to all of her nieces and nephews, those close and afar. Graduating from South High School in 1982, she made friends to last a lifetime and remained close to several of those she grew up with and attended school with.
Education and learning were great passions of Carol – she was always excited to learn and expand her knowledge. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 1995, Master of Social Work and Master of Public Administration in 2014 – receiving all three degrees from the University of Utah. Carol was always driven to help people and recently was working to establish herself as a therapist. In addition to education, Carol was also passionate about her work, recently achieving 20 years of dedication and service with the State of Utah.
Family was everything to Carol. She was excited to bring her only daughter Eboni along to all of the exciting opportunities she had in life. They were always two peas in a pod, extending the pod to three once her only grandson Mason was born. Carol met her life partner, Marek Rogozinski, in 2015, and the two of them married in 2016 (later divorced). Though they were no longer married, Marek was still her person and the two of them were inseparable, she loved him deeply.
Carol is survived by her daughter Eboni (Sam) Chapman; father Billy Roy Brothers; siblings Darrell Keith (Debbie) Yarbrough, Roderick (Rachael) Goode and Catherine Lenore Foy; special grandson Mason Chapman; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her mother Dorothy Mae Foy; step father Aulander Goode; brothers Gerald Lynn Goode and Lenny Foy, Jr.
Special thank you to all of the wonderful caretakers at Huntsman Cancer Institute and Huntsman at Home hospice. Thank you for all of the wonderful care and compassion shown to Carol and her family throughout this difficult battle.

I am sending prayers and blessings to our family in time of Loss. Sorry I am not able to be there but I'm there in spirit. Death is very hard and God knows best. Cousin isn't suffering anymore. Glad I was able to be in touch with her to hear that giddy giddy voice of hers. She isn't gone just resting and we will see her again. Be strong Ebony and remember all the positive and that radiant smile she always had. She now has her wings and an Angel watching over you and your son. I love you all. No Facebook but just a call away. To all her Siblings, grandson and Father look to God for your strength to get thru this and he will guide you and your hearts. Love Ms Helen Hoskins.
