Christopher Cody Goodman, age 33, passed away on November 19, 2025, at his father’s home in Henderson, Nevada, after a valiant fight against cancer. Cody’s strength, sense of humor, and fearlessness endured till the very end.
Cody was born on December 23, 1991, in Provo, Utah, to Chris Goodman and Melissa Clark. The oldest brother of four children, he had a warm, vibrant personality, with a natural charisma that made him the life of every party. Everyone wanted to be his friend and he welcomed everyone with open arms. Cody was remarkably athletic, strong and determined, becoming a state champion gymnast and very talented skier from a young age. He was never afraid to attempt a new trick or take on a new sport. Cody was also curious, well-read and passionate about learning, with a special interest in history. During his school days, his natural tendencies for math, science and history served him well—although he will always be remembered as everyone’s favorite class clown.
With Cody, there was truly never a dull day. He was often unpredictable as he carved his own path through life and remained steadfast in his mission to live each day to the fullest. He encountered many obstacles in life, but he was fearless and resilient and defied numerous odds without complaint. He possessed a wisdom far beyond his years. Cody was a spiritual person with a love for the gospel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Cody will be deeply, incredibly missed. He was a LEGEND. He will never be forgotten, because he was truly unforgettable.
Cody is survived by his parents Melissa Clark and Chris Goodman, and his siblings Whitney, Tanner, and Skyler Goodman.

Growing up with Cody as my next door neighbor was so much fun! I have many memories of playing night games, him teaching me gymnastics tricks on the trampoline, and occasionally getting into a little mischief with Cody around the neighborhood. Sending lots of love to Cody’s family!
I was very privileged to know Cody. He was blessed to have such a beautiful and wild free spirit. He had many gifts and talents. I loved him and I will never forget him. Deepest sympathies and condolences to everyone who new and loved Cody.
