D’Aure “Buck” Hall passed away peacefully in his home, due to natural causes, on December 16th, 2020.

He was born January 24th, 1938 in Bingham Canyon, Utah to Clara Maud Freestone and Roscoe Jefferson Hall. A few years later, they moved to Tooele, Utah where he grew up. He went to Tooele High School. He dated and married Sharon Marie Groskreutz. Together they had three boys; Rocky, Bret and Bart. They later divorced.

Buck was always up for an adventure, but his greatest adventure was with his wife of 47 years, Bonnie Lynn Bouck. They were married March 19th, 1967 in Elko, Nevada. When they married, she brought with her three children; Steven, Shelli and Wade. Together they had Tana and she completed their family. As they blended families, he loved all “his kids”, and they knew it! Together they lived a loving and exciting life, creating countless memories with family and friends.

Buck spent time overseas, as a civil servant, in the Vietnam War, Desert Storm and Desert Shield. We are so proud of his willingness to serve. He retired after 30 years of hard work at Tooele Army Depot.

Buck enjoyed being outdoors; camping, fishing, boating and drinking beer. He loved visiting with his many friends and neighbors. He could often be found socializing at the West Valley Fitness Center. Traveling was also something he loved, most recently fulfilling a lifelong dream, going on an African safari with his daughter, Shelli. Making new memories with those he loved was a priority and he was always up for an adventure. There wasn’t much Buck couldn’t have fun doing. He will be deeply missed by so many.

Buck is survived by his siblings, Gordon R Hall and Ella Rae Hayes; children, Rocky D Hall (Becky), Bart G Hall (Cindy Kay), Steven E Hutto (Sherry), Shelli Summers (Gus), E Wade Hutto and Tana Hall Linares (Cesar), 19 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife Bonnie; his parents; siblings, Norma Thielke, Ray Gerald Hall, Don F Hall; a son, Bret Lee Hall; grandson J Grayson Eyring; great-grandchildren Devun Hansen, and Maci Faith Larkin.

There will be a viewing Monday December 21st from 6-8 PM at Larkin Sunset Gardens in Sandy. A private family service will follow Tuesday, December 22nd starting at 1 PM.
