Devin Price, beloved son, brother, grandson, and friend, passed away on February 10, 2025, in Sandy, Utah, at the age of 20. Born on September 13, 2004, in Salt Lake City, Utah, Devin lived a life filled with passion, kindness, and an unshakable sense of humor.

From an early age, Devin embraced the joy of sports, taking on any challenge with enthusiasm. Whether it was baseball, Jr. Ute Football, Flag football with his cousins, or any other sport that caught his interest, he played with heart and dedication. His love of physical activity extended later as he became an avid weightlifter and enjoyed rock climbing a skill he took up with determination and a spirit of adventure.

In addition to his love for athletics, Devin was an avid gamer, sharing countless hours of laughter and competition with his cousins and friends. His quick wit and perfectly timed one-liners made every gaming session memorable. He was comfortable in his own skin, confident in his convictions, and always stood up for what was right. His strong sense of justice and loyalty to those he loved defined who he was.

Music was another great passion in Devin’s life, and his playlist was always filled with the songs that brought him joy and inspiration. Whether attending concerts, discovering new artists, or simply enjoying a song that spoke to him, music was a constant presence in his life.

Devin graduated from Brighton High School in 2023 and attended Salt Lake Community College. He was recently admitted to the University of Utah and looked forward to proudly wearing his BYU blue on campus, always enjoying a good-natured rivalry. His sense of humor and independent spirit shone through in everything he did.

Devin’s work ethic was unmatched. He started his career as a dedicated employee at Smith’s grocery store before moving up to assistant manager at Zaxby’s. His passion for food extended beyond work as he focused on becoming a great cook, mastering his favorite protein dishes.  He loved to request his dad's Italian rigatoni dish as his comfort food.  Most recently, he worked at ProV, where he cherished the friendships, he formed with colleagues.

Above all else, Devin’s greatest love was his deep personal connection with friends and family.  His bond with his father, Scott, was deep and filled with mutual respect and love.  People often commented that he was his father’s mini me. He cherished his mother, Kristine's, daily attention to him as he arrived home from school. He returned his love for her by demonstrating tremendous compassion and being by her side until her recent passing. He was always mindful of his siblings, Bradley and Sienna, looking out for them with unwavering devotion. He treasured visits to the beach, where he found peace and happiness. He enjoyed traveling, often reflecting on his senior trip with his dear friend Ben to Greece.  Devin created long-lasting friendships that he cherished.

Devin’s kindness, humor, and unwavering love for his family and friends will be deeply missed but never forgotten. His legacy of laughter, charm, on point one-liners, hard work, and standing up for what is right will continue to inspire those who knew and loved him.

Devin is survived by his father, Scott Price; his sister, Sienna; his brother, Bradley; his grandparents, Clair and Rozalynne Price and Rex and Jane Pitcher; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He is preceded in death by his mother, Kristine, and his aunt, Rosanna.

A viewing will be held on Thursday February 20, 2025, at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. Dimple Dell Road, Sandy, Utah 84092, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, and again on February 21, 2025, from 9:00 to 9:45 AM. A Celebration of Life will follow on Friday February 21, 2025, at 10:00 AM.

Devin was the sweetest boy and always a good friend for my daughter Kyra. I remember seeing him often during their years at Albion and then Brighton. He was a kind face at Smiths for me to look for. I will miss his sweet smile and cute personality.

Scott and Sienna - we are so sorry for your loss. Devin was an amazing kid. I had the privilege to not only know him as the older brother who picked on the girls when they were little, but the amazing student that he was at Albion. Our hearts are broken for you and all those that loved Devin. You are all in our thoughts and we are grateful that we got the chance to know Devin.
