  • Dianne was born in Salt Lake City on December 10, 1940 to Adrienne Nielsen Henderson and Franklin Thomas Henderson. She grew up on Salt Lake’s west side until they moved to Bountiful where she attended and graduated from Bountiful High School.

After high school she attended LDS Business College while working in the construction department of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, which is where she met Dan E. Losee. The two of them were later married and raised four children, Dan Justin, Dana, Denielle, and Derek Todd. In 1986 she was married to Charles (Chuck) S. Davey in Boston.

Dianne and Chuck started, operated, and sold several travel businesses, which played into their love of travel. Dianne loved to travel and was seriously a pro. She traveled with friends and family to all ends of the earth. With her daughters to Thailand, as well as traveling to Europe, Africa, and South America collecting local culture nativity scenes along the way. We always joke that Nonna, as known by her grandchildren, could write a book on “How to do Europe in a day.”

Dianne loved her family more than anything. Her relationships with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren were most important. She made every one of them feel as if they were the most special person in her life. She left an imprint on this earth, and everyone will remember Dianne for her youthful beauty, energy, and fun loving and frequently off color personality.

Dianne passed suddenly on Monday February 7. It was a jolt to her family and friends who care for and love her so much. She is survived by her husband Charles S. Davey, brother Steve Henderson, children Justin (Bee) Losee, Dana (Mike) Cook, Denielle (Mitch) Godwin, Derek (Kim) Losee, two stepchildren Marc (Laurie) Davey, and Eric Davey. She is blessed with 19 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and puppy Belle. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, and grandson Jeffrey Scott.

Her earthly presence will be sorely missed by so many.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 12, 2022, at 11:00 am at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, Salt Lake City, Utah. A viewing will be held prior to the funeral service from 10:00 - 10:45 am. Interment to follow at Salt Lake City Cemetery.
