In Loving Memory of DonRe Sampson
August 4, 1939 – October 5, 2025
To Mary Ann and the Sampson Family,
Heartfelt condolences to you during this time of loss. DonRe was my friend — a man full of warmth, creativity, and joy. His music, laughter, and kindness touched everyone around him, and his spirit will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know him.
He was a true Dallas Cowboy fan, always full of life and conversation. Once DonRe got to know you, you became family — that was just who he was. He had a way of making people feel seen, valued, and loved.
Though he is no longer with us in body, his love and light live on — in the memories shared, the laughter remembered, and the many hearts he made feel like home.
Wishing you peace, strength, and comfort in the days ahead.
With heartfelt love sympathy and Blessings,
Wanda Austin

I moved in across the street 10 years ago. He was the 1st and only neighbor to welcome me and say hello. I was overwhelmed by his kindness especially waking up to find out that he and “snowballs” had already removed all snow from my walks and driveway. Donre was my friend. I really loved the way he called me “Bird” . I will sincerely miss him.
As you celebrate Sonny’s life, I want to extend my deepest sympathies. Praying God to comfort you and give you His perfect peace to face the days ahead and loving memories to hold on to. Holding you close in my thoughts and prayers. I love you. Zettie
A great man has completed his earthly journey, but his spirit and good he shared will live on forever. May his memory be a blessing and his life an inspiration. Losing such a great man leaves a void that words can’t fill. Yet, his laughter, wisdom, and love remain deeply rooted in every life he touched.
Love forevermore.
Sending condolences to the entire Sampson family...to Ashley, Twins & Carlos l remember DonRe as a man with a giant personality and a lot of accomplishments. May he rest in peace and may love surround your family ❤️ 🙏
