Laura was known to all to be a spunky woman that would keep you laughing for hours. Laura was kind and always willing to help others in need. Laura was always thankful for the many things that she had and the blessings that she received. Laura loved this country and was very proud of the military service that her father, uncles and son gave to our nation.

Laura was a hard worker and would do whatever was required to provide for her family. She worked making socks in a mill in Tennessee for many years, to a store clerk in Oregon, before moving to Utah and becoming a film reader for the U.S. Army at Dugway Proving Ground till she retired.

Laura loved to go camping and fishing with the love of her life Gillis and her family. Laura was the only woman known to be able to bait her fish hook with a worm using two popsicle sticks.

Laura only had two sons but she made sure that both of them knew how to cook, do laundry, fold their clothing, clean house, and to be respectful of others.

Laura enjoyed the holiday season and loved to bake and make homemade Christmas candy and to wrap gifts. Laura will be missed by all who knew her and even more by all who loved her, however she will never be forgotten. We are thankful to know that she is now back with the love of her life Gillis and our Heavenly Father.

The family members would like to give a very loving thanks to all of the caregivers and medical personnel who helped take care of Laura's needs and the loving service that they provided to her and the family. The family thanks each of you and may you be blessed for the service that you provide.
