Elizabeth Ann Murdock Jaber, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly of a heart attack on May 15, 2025. She was 59 years old.
Born on February 7, 1966, in Bellingham, Washington, Elizabeth lived a life enriched by music, faith, and the deep love she had for her family. She is survived by her daughter, Alexandra Hudson; her son, Anthony Jaber; and her grandson, Nikolas Hudson, who brought a special light to her life. She is also survived by her former husband, Abdul Rahman Jaber, and her siblings: Marcina Shannon, Lisa Stevens (Mike), Eric Murdock (Penny), Manena Duncan (Pat), and Danielle Holley.
Elizabeth had a remarkable gift for music. She wrote and composed songs for both herself and for choirs, and her beautiful voice touched the hearts of many. One of her greatest joys was serving as a choir director-a calling she fulfilled with passion and devotion. Throughout her life, she held many roles within her church, serving with humility, compassion, and a deep sense of purpose.
Professionally, Elizabeth worked in a variety of roles over the years, but her favorite was her time at the corporate offices of Jack-In-the-Box, where she found both pride and fulfillment in her work.
Though health challenges affected her for many years, Elizabeth experienced a renewed sense of peace and happiness in the last year of her life. She found joy in quiet moments, in music, and in time spent with loved ones.
Her passing came far too soon and has left a profound emptiness in the lives of those who knew and loved her. She will be remembered always for her creative spirit, her generous heart, her unwavering faith, and her enduring love for her family.
