Evangeline Sue Boorman, aged 3, died on July 25, 2022. She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on July 10, 2019, to Connor and Abigail Boorman.

From the beginning, Evangeline always had a certain light about her. She was full of love and shared her affection abundantly. She was known for her sweet demeanor, silly laughs, and goofy faces. One of her favorite things to do was snuggle on the couch with her family, always with a blanket. Evangeline had an adventurous soul. She enjoyed camping, swimming, and riding on the family’s four wheelers. She spent so much time outdoors with her brother on their bikes, at the park and helping with yardwork and gardening. She was the first to go down the big slides, swing high on swings or jump into the ocean. She had no fear.

Evangline was a spunky spirit. She always knew her mind and was never afraid to tell anyone what she was thinking. She always kept her family laughing with the things she would say. Her signature look was unkempt hair, a PBJ smeared face, mismatched clothes, and shoes always on the wrong feet. Her favorite food was ‘snacks’, which included fruit snacks, ‘Spicy candy’ (hot tamales), popsicles and any kind of food as long as we called it a ‘snack’ and not ‘breakfast’, ‘lunch’ or ‘dinner’. Evangeline loved to sing along to Disney music as well as make up her own songs while riding in the car. She would always come to the rescue when somebody was sad and would say “it's okay sweetheart” and offer a band-aid to make them feel better. She would often be found at the kitchen table painting, coloring, and making her own art projects. She loved to dress up in costumes and hats and pose for pictures.

Her best friend was her older brother, Russ, whom she did everything with. She always called him ‘brother’ and learned all of her letters, numbers, shapes and colors from him. She was protective of him and on several occasions, she stood up for him against others.

Evangeline was very excited to be a big sister to Virginia. She would talk about wanting a big bunk bed that she and her sister could share. She shared many hugs and kisses with her.

Evangeline is survived by her parents Abigail and Connor; brother and sister, Russell and Virginia; her grandparents, Cory and Creighton Boorman, Rachel and Torry Hinson and Steven Caporale. She also had many great-grandparents, aunts and uncles and cousins that loved her as well.

She is preceded in death by great-grandparents, Jack and Lucile Baker, grandma Jacqueline Jensen, uncle, Samuel Boorman and cousin Grayson Flinders.

Larkin Mortuary has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Autumn Ridge Church building, located at 4588 N Eagle Mountain Boulevard in Eagle Mountain, on Saturday, July 30, 2022, at 12:00 pm, with a viewing held an hour prior. The family encourages all who knew Evangeline to attend to share memories and celebrate her life.

We will cherish the moments we spent with sweet Evangeline. Her blue eyes, silly faces, and tousled hair.
Her fights with brother; when we played in the sand or at kidstopia, when she came over for playdates, fun and snacks. Her easy to put on shoes.... And her blanket!
She is loved by many and will keep living in our hearts 💕
She brought light, love and joy in the lives of many and will keep doing that in the spirit world.
Time might seem long before you meet again but eternity will be way longer!
We love you guys and are here for you anytime!
