On July 1, in Herriman Utah, our beloved Jeffrey Scott Jorgensen was found deceased in his home after tragically losing his battle with alcohol addiction. Jeff was just 46 years old.

Born on June 18, 1978, Jeff did so much in 46 years of life. His charming personality lured people in. Wherever Jeff was and whatever he was doing, you wanted to be with him. Everyone always wanted to talk to Jeff, he was usually the most popular person in the room. The impressions he made will be everlasting. Jeff was the ultimate people person and had a very special ability to sell himself to everyone which led him to a successful 21-year career at BMW of Murray. His clients adored him and many friendships were made there. Later, Jeff worked at US Health where additional friendships were made.

Jeff was most fortunate to be married to his soulmate Jaquel for 18 years.

Jeff had a passion for fitness. He would build his day and routine around working out and eating or “feed” as he would call it. He loved to play golf and had great skill and experience from all the years playing with his grandpa, dad, brother, friends and colleagues. Jeff was extremely lucky to have found FTR(Fit to Recover) and Ian Acker in 2016. Ian and FTR had a unique impression on Jeff, showing him that sobriety
was possible and extended his life. Jeff also liked, boating – water skiing, camping, music & concerts, football, and even used to race bullet bikes. One of his best quirks was his inability to sit still, frequently pacing while talking on the phone.

Jeff is survived by his immediate family: His deeply loving mother Debbie, who took care of him the last years of his life. He’s also survived by his father Rick(Willie), his brother Kerry(Heather), his brother Jeremy(Darien), and his four nieces and nephews.. Chloe, Charlie, Rhyss and Avery. Jeff is also survived by many many friends whom he loved truly and dearly..

Jeff is proceeded in death by his grandparents Eldon and Shirley Jorgensen, Jack and Evelyn Atkinson, and his uncle Randy Jorgensen.
Jeff, you will be remembered and extremely missed. We all love you.

I am so sorry to learn of Jeff’s passing. I have cherished memories of being with him and Jacquel at Fit 2 Recover. But my best memories were when we would go to downtown SLC and pass out meals and supplies to the homeless.
He had a kind, giving, and loving heart.
We will all miss him dearly.
