Listen to Obituary
Jennifer “Jenny” Jensen passed away on April 30, 2025, surrounded by loved ones, following a cardiac arrest a few days earlier. She was born on July 26, 1993, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Brad and Teri Jensen. Jenny was the youngest of seven children—and has always been her dad’s “best buddy.”
Jenny excelled most at being a devoted and loving mom to her three young children: William, Morris, and Lucy. They were the lights of her life and brought deep joy and purpose to everything she did.
Full of life, energy, and opinions, Jenny was quick-witted, funny, and strong-willed. She loved time spent “on the mountain” at the family cabin. She loved games, shopping, puzzles, Utah football, and a cold Diet Coke.
Jenny chose kindness, even when it was hard. She took the high road, despite it being expensive real estate (one of Jenny’s favorite lines).
As one of five daughters, Jenny was part of an extraordinary sisterhood that has loved, rallied, laughed, and cried together throughout life.
She was a deeply loved daughter, sister, friend, and — above all — mom.
She is survived by her three children, William, Morris and Lucy; her parents Bradley T. and Teri Lynn Jensen; her two brothers, Trent (Amy) Jensen, Jacob (Candice) Jensen; and her four sisters Heidi (Brad) Bentley, Jamie (Michael) Neider, Jill (Cameron) Clark, and Brooke (Benjamin) Lee.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 9855 S. 2300 E., Sandy, Utah. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, May 6, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. 10600 S., Sandy, Utah, and again on Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church prior to the funeral services. Interment will follow at Larkin Sunset Gardens, Sandy, Utah.
Guestbook/Condolences
So sad Brad & Teri to hear about Jenny. It has been so long since we’ve been together as an extended family; clear back I think to when Grandpa was still with us. Carrie (my wife) and I just wanted you to know that we’re thinking about you and your family.
Love Glenn & Carrie

We are so sorry for the loss of your beautiful Jenny. We send you our love ❤️ and prayers that you’ll find comfort in the beautiful memories of her. I saw her a few weeks ago at the bagel shop and I had a fun chat with her. I will cherish that moment and reflect on the fun childhood friendship she had with Angela.

Sister Christian, oh, the time has come
And you know that you're the only one to say, "Okay"
Where you going? What you looking for?
You know those boys don't want to play no more with you, it's true
You're motoring
What's your price for flight?
In finding Mister Right
You'll be alright tonight
Babe, you know you're growing up so fast
And mama's worryin' that you won't last to say, "Let's play"
Sister Christian, there's so much in life
Don't you give it up before your time is due, it's true
It's true, yeah
Motoring
What's your price for flight?
You got him in your sights
You're diving through the night
You're motoring
What's your price for flight?
In finding Mister Right
You'll be alright tonight
Motoring
What's your price for flight?
In finding Mr. Right
You'll be alright tonight
Motoring
What's your price for flight?
In finding Mister Right
You'll be alright tonight
Sister Christian, oh, the time has come
And you know that you're the only one to say, "Okay"
But you're motoring
Yeah, motoring
We are saddened to hear about the passing of Jenny. Her light will forever shine and her love radiate through those she loved, her family! Our prayers are with you and your family.
I had the opportunity of going to Esthetician school with Jenny. She was such a kind, beautiful friend, and it breaks my heart to hear of her passing. I’m sending all my love, prayers, and deepest condolences to her parents, siblings, and sweet children. You are in my thoughts during this tender time.
Jenny was a wonderful person and I feel blessed to have known her. Sending all of her friends and family so much love and peace.
Oh Jenny I will miss you my friend 🧡
I am so sorry to learn of this. If I remember correctly - Jennifer played tennis with 3 of my daughters. I remember her being everything this picture of her depicts: Kind and beautiful. You are in our prayers.
I am so sorry for the loss of Jenny. I know how much she was loved and adored by all who knew her, especially her family who she often expressed the sincerest gratitude for.
I loved her beautiful way with words, especially when speaking about how much she loved her children and how much she loved being their mom. I will miss her sweet words and the positive perspective she shared.
Dear Brad and Teri, I saw this sad notice of your daughter’s passing the other day, and I had to take a moment to tell you how sorry I am for your loss. Just reading about her I could tell what a light she was to your family and her children. I am so sorry. Paula DeSpain
