Jennifer Megan Hart, beloved daughter, sister, fiancé, and friend passed away in Memphis, TN on May 25, 2022, at the age of 39.

Jen was a gift to her family and friends and a light to all who knew and loved her. She had a uniquely unifying effect on those around her at home, at work, and at play, and always wanted the best for everyone, genuinely. She radiated fun - always ready for a laugh, a new adventure, and a mischievous sense of humor.

Jen was born May 11, 1983, in Sandy, Utah to Frank Gerald Hart Jr. (Gerry) and Toni-Rae Hart, and the baby sister of her older sister and four brothers. She moved with her family to Minnesota when she was 6 and later to western Wisconsin where she graduated from high school.

After attending college in Utah, Jennifer moved to San Diego where she quickly worked her way into general management in the restaurant industry. She loved working in restaurants and thrived on its fast pace and hard work, and loved supporting her co-workers and employees and building great teams. But most of all, she loved hosting and creating an amazing experience for all the people who entered her doors.

In 2015 she moved to the Memphis area to be closer to her dad, who was terminally ill, as well as her mom and brother Mike. It was during this time that she also met her fiancé, Chris, with whom she lived and shared the last four years of her life.

On May 25th, our beloved Jenni drew her last breath.

Jenn touched the lives of so many. We are proud of who Jenn was and who she still wanted to be. She touched the lives of so many.

She was smart, charming, and fun, and – as the youngest in the family with four older brothers – could always hold her own. Jenn was creative and talented. Like her sister Christi, she was an amazing dancer, appearing in multiple productions of the Nutcracker in Minneapolis and when she got older competed nationally with her high school dance squad. Jenn had an incredible memory and at a young age could memorize her favorite movies line-for-line, song-for-song, and dance-for-dance, passionately running them on constant VHS replay. As an adult, she channeled that passion and creative energy into her painting, crafting, and piano.

Jenn is preceded in death by her beloved sister Christi and father Gerry and is survived by her mother Toni-Rae, her brothers Frank Gerald Hart III (Shana), Michael Hart, Jonathan Hart (Mary), Patrick Hart (Stefanie), her fiancé Chris Harper, aunts, uncles, countless nephews, nieces, cousins and her beloved dogs she shared with Chris, Hades and Fenix.
