Joyce Elaine Dustman passed away at home peacefully in her sleep August 17, 2022, at the age of 91. Joyce was born April 21, 1931, in Middleton, Idaho. She married the love of her life Bob Dustman in 1949. He preceded her in death in 2018. Joyce obtained a BS degree from the College of Idaho and was an elementary school teacher for a number of years in Salt Lake City. She enjoyed sports and played field hockey, roller skated, ice skated, and skied. Joyce was opinionated yet a great listener to friends and family in need and was always willing to help materially and emotionally. She loved her grandchildren very much and they in turn gave her much happiness. She experienced the joy of holding her only great grandchild (Ozzy) during the last months of her life.
She was always determined and independent and continued to be so in her final months of life.
Joyce is survived by sons Todd (Tina) and Ted (Connie), grandchildren Olivia (David), Darby (Nick), Cayla, and Devin, brothers Darrell, Glen, and Blaine, and sister Linda.
Joyce’s life's spirit will live on in all who knew her.

Dear Todd and Ted. The news of Joyce's passing was conveyed by a family member who still communicates with us. Joyce and Bob had a considerable Influence on my choice of a career in the years after high school. Her advice and counsel was always highly regarded and considered. Joyce's standards were of the highest and our understanding is that she passed them on to you. Our memories are that she was secure in her life choices. Please accept our condolences.
