Kent LeRoy Latimer passed away unexpectedly on August 19th 2024 in Maui, Hawaii at the age of 57 while on vacation with his fiancé. He will be missed by all his family and friends.
Kent was born on May 6th 1967 to Ruth Neille and Earl LeRoy Latimer. He was their third child and their third son. Kent met the love of his life Megan on August 8th 2023 he knew right away he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. Kent had three sons Kent jr. He had a passion for working on cars and being a leader. He made a career working in the automation industry starting as a technician and working his way up to manager position. Before his passing he was working as the general manager for Carolina International Trucks, he loved the company and everyone he worked with there. Outside of work Kent loved spending his time with Megan whether it was a relaxing night in, just being together, boating, chilling by the pool, doing house projects, going out to movies, having date nights, going on vacations, crossing items of their bucket lists, just being goofy and silly with Megan, spending time with family and friends, talking or Face Timing his granddaughters and receiving photos or videos of them, as he loved them both very much. Kent loved watching football especially his favorite football team Seattle Seahawks, going golfing any chance he got. He of course had man’s best friend his dog Tito whom he loved a lot and loved taking her pretty much anywhere with him. Above everything else Kent was beyond proud of all three of his sons and the things they have accomplished and continue to accomplish in their personal lives and careers.

Guestbook/Condolences
Hi, I don’t know who will receive this message, if anybody at all, but I was one of the bystanders who did cpr on Mr. Kent. I want to stay anonymous but my family and friends call me Tito. I was at the Hyatt resort on my honeymoon when I heard somebody was passed out on the beach, I’ve been a Pramedic for about 2 years at this point and one thing I learned is that nobody just passes out by a body of water. I told my wife that I was going to check it out real quick just to make sure somebody was doing CPR and ended up doing cpr myself. I’m writing you this just to say I’m so sorry for your loss and I can’t imagine what all of you have been through but I hope through all the grief you were able to have remembrance of him and enjoy the memories that he made with your family friends and strangers. I hope you have a blessed day - Tito
