Keaira Marie Feliciano, known affectionately as Kiki, passed away in Riverton Utah on July 30, 2024, after a very long battle with Synovial Sarcoma, she was just 17 years old.

Kiki Marie, our little "Keek the Sneak", our "Snuggie" was born on November 10, 2006, to her parents Jean Paul and Ashly Feliciano and her big brother Kasen. From the moment she was born, Kiki was a light in the lives of all who knew her. With her infectious giggle and her hilarious sense of humor, to know her was to love her.

A junior at Herriman High School, she was able to graduate a full year early, in June of 2024, even though she was battling cancer for her entire high school career.

An avid softball player, Kiki found joy in playing for the Herriman High School Softball Team and she was well known and loved by the entire softball community. Kiki's hobbies were a reflection of who she was, and she found solace in the pages of books, photography, and the lyrics of her favorite artists, like Taylor Swift and Phobe Bridgers. She got her love of music from her dad, and nobody felt the power of music more than Kiki. You could tell how her day was going or what kind of mood she was in, by simply listening to whatever vinyl might be spinning in her bedroom.

She also found joy in the little things too. Spending time with her brother Kasen and snuggling up with her dogs Tucker and Milo. Going to a ridiculous number of concerts with her cousins, friends, and her dad. Spending the day with her mom, shopping, getting pedicures or just talking with her for hours about life. Hanging out with friends and finding love and comfort in the arms of her boyfriend Tommy.
Kiki's journey was cut short and although we will never understand why, we do find comfort in the fact that she is no longer in pain and now she can rest in peace but not without leaving a huge void in the lives of all who loved her.

Some might say that she lost her battle with Synovial Sarcoma, but Kiki kicked cancers ass! She was bigger than the whole sky and now she no longer has to chase beautiful sunsets, the stars, and the moon that she loved so much because now she is a part of them, watching over us, until we meet again.

The Feliciano family would like to personally thank Meliss Yates, RN and the entire hospice team at Intermountain Home and Hospice for their exceptional care and comfort provided to Kiki in her final months. And a heartfelt thank you to her entire medical team at Primary Children’s Hospital, especially to Doug Fair, MD and Brian Bucher, MD, for their unwavering care and support, during Kiki’s cancer journey.

In lieu of flowers, the family would kindly ask donations be made to the established Kiki Strong GoFundMe account to help with all funeral expenses at https://www.gofundme.com/f/kiki-strong-help-her-fight-cancer-again?qid=0506df49f2a0da5606a6d38d5fe8efe4.

Funeral services will be held at 10AM on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at Larkin Mortuary - Riverton, 3688 West 12600 South in Riverton, Utah. There will be no visitation to honor Kiki's wishes. Funeral services will be streamed via Zoom for those wishing to attend virtually.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held immediately following the services beginning at Noon at the Nevin residence, 13068 South 2900 West, Riverton, Utah where friends and family can share memories and enjoy ones another's company remembering Kiki.

Kiki was one of the strongest girls I have ever met. There are no words to express how much I genuinely loved her. She was the most selfless girl to walk this earth, always putting everyone before herself. Anytime we would hangout Kiki became the party no matter where we were. Her smile lit up any room she walked into. The biggest blessing was getting to know Kiki and being able to call her my friend. Paint the sky pretty for us Kiki. I love and miss you beyond words.

My heart is so sad for you and your family. Kiki was a light in everyone’s life who was blessed to have known her. Even though this moment has been expected it is heart wrenching to know we won't hear her laugh, see her smile, feel her hugs again. I know we are 2000 miles away but you are family and we are here for you as you mourn and find peace in this moment. If you need someone to listen or you need an escape you know where to find us. We love you!!! 🦋💙💙🦋

You always knew when you were in the presence of Keaira. Her smile and aura made any room bright. She fought so hard and for so long. Much longer than any child should have to endure. Did she lose the battle? No, not at all! I have no doubts that she left to rejoin her place in heaven as her soul was too pure for mortal existence. We will always have a spot for Kiki in our hearts and minds. No matter what she had going on, she always made time for my son. And for that, she lives on. We miss you Keeks, but one day we will reunite and you can tell us all about your new adventures dancing in the stars and reading good books on the moon. You’ve always had wings, go in peace and touch your mom and dad’s heart when they need it most. You will always be with us. Until we meet again.
