Larry Elrod Beagley, surrounded by his loving family, departed from this life on November 5th, 2023, after a courageous battle with Dementia; he was two days past his 90th birthday. His loving and devoted wife, sons, and daughters bore him up, comforted him, and supplied his every need as he travailed his way toward eternity. His final days were peaceful, and his victory is now complete.

A private funeral was held at his home in keeping with his wishes, on Friday, November 10th, 2023, with immediate family and loved ones attending. Interment at the Elysian Burial Gardens.

He was born in Tooele, Utah, to Jesse & Althea Beagley on November 3rd, 1933. He is survived by a large and loving family.

Larry’s life was devoted to the service of others. He served in the US Army from July 19, 1956, to June 9, 1958. For many years he offered kind and loving care to the many needy residents of his nursing facility.

In his early life, he spent most of his teenage years working on his father’s farm. It was at that time that he was introduced to the fullness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ by his lifelong friend and brother, Helmut Olschewski. From that time forward, he nurtured a deep and abiding love for the gospel and cherished all the holy principles therein. One of his greatest desires was to “Train up his children in the way they should go…”

This, our beloved husband, father, and brother will be dearly missed.
