I am saddened by Larry’s passing. He and I had many interesting conversations and played some bad golf together. I apologize that I will be unable to attend his funeral. I have a scheduled surgery on the 4th and won’t be able to make it. I would otherwise be there. My condolences to his family and loved ones.

Best,

Roger Smith

I feel very fortunate that Larry befriended me late in his life and so generously shared of himself, his time, his vast knowledge, his deep wisdom, his wicked wit and his love for his pets. He was so proud and happy to be able to display his grandmother's paintings, and to share his daughter's artistic knowledge and refinement. He enriched my life, and I will miss him.
