Lois Switzer passed away on June 22, 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer and surrounded by family. She was born to Ephraim Warren and Chelta Hamnett Jackson on June 7, 1946, in Lehi Utah. She graduated from Olympus High school in 1964 and continued her education at Dixie College. She graduated from Dixie in 1966 and married her best friend and partner John Edward “Ed” Switzer in September 1966. They moved to Logan Utah to continue Ed’s education and started a family. They moved to Midvale Utah in March 1971 where she maintained a household and watched her family grow.

She enjoyed golfing where she made lifetime friends and traveled the world with them. She enjoyed dinners with friends, keeping a nice house and helping her girls grow.

She is survived by her husband Ed; her daughters Leslie (Grailynn) Bowe, Kerry (James) Pyron; and 8 grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; her sister Beverly (Byron) Tempest; and daughter Wendy (Jay) Brown.

Lois is a beautiful, kind, and gracious woman whom I came to admire during our short acquaintance. She surely will be sorely missed by Ed, children, spouses, grandchildren and multiple friends. May you all be comforted that she presently resides in a peaceful environment surrounded by family/loved ones passed on before. May the Spirit continue to comfort and guide you this day and always.
    Respectively and lovingly,

I had the privilege of golfing with Lois for many years. She was a wonderful, soft spoken and encouraging playing partner. She was so kind to me when I joined the country club and I will always remember her for her loving friendship and travel stories. She will be missed by all of us ladies. Sending my love.
