Celebration of Life
Larkin Sunset Gardens 1950 East Dimple Dell Road, SandyThursday Jul 18, 2024 11:00 AM
Our beloved son, brother, grandson, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend: Marcus Bryan Taylor, age 38, unexpectedly passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2024.
Marcus was born May 22, 1986 to Ron Taylor and Colleen Millerberg Taylor in Murray, Utah. He attended Jordan High School and graduated from Valley High School. Married Katie Pickering, later divorced. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Marcus is survived by his parents: Ron Taylor (Janneen) and Colleen Shick; his brothers: Curtis, Sean (Sara), and Griffin (Adia) Taylor; step-brothers: Rob (Courtney) Shick and Jordan (Monica) Shick; nieces: Bryton, Jade, and Paityn; nephew: Easton; and numerous cousins. He is preceded in death by his step-father, Robert Shick; grandfather, Keith Millerberg; grandmother, Jean Taylor; grandfather, Roland Taylor; and aunts: Linda Smith and Susie Oxford.
Marcus was known for his mischievous smile and the sparkle in his eyes. To know him was to feel every emotion: happiness, joy, laughter, anger, sadness, compassion, gratitude, stress, anxiety, but most importantly, love. He had a unique outlook on life and lived life on his own terms.
Marcus enjoyed being around his nieces and nephew. He loved them very much, and they, in turn, loved him. They were very lucky to have him as their uncle. Marcus spent many hours watching over Grandma Millerberg and talking to her about her life. Grandma enjoyed the time they spent together.
A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Thursday, July 18, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at the Larkin Sunset Gardens (1950 East 10600 South, Sandy, UT).

Colleen - I just saw Marcus’ obituary. I’m so sorry to know he has died. I know he brought you much happiness. You have lost so many in your life. My prayers are with you.
This was - and still IS - one of the best people around! He always had a good word to say about folks, even when I didn't. His smile would light up the entire area where he was, and I know he is lighting up a great deal of Heaven now. I hope he hugs my two grandsons for me, if he hasn't already. What a super awesome guy, SO very glad he could bless this earth with his presence. Heavenly Father is calling some of His truly best back Home, my condolences to y'all who will miss him along with so many others. Until we meet again, my friend and cousin. My you feel the peace which only God can give.
Marcus, I just heard the sad news. I haven’t been in touch for a while but always think back fondly of our time together and jammin with you. Hope to do so again when the time comes for me 🤘
