She is proceeded in death by her life long sweetheart of 63 yrs. John; Her parents Loren & Edith; Her Sisters Katherine & Betty, as well as her brother Bob.

Mavis retried from ZCMI warehouse department store, where She met many lifelong friends. Her most cherished activities were spending time with her children, grandchildren & great grandchildren. She loved to shop. On any given day you could find her at the malls. Mavis was a strong, beautiful, fun, loving women with a mischievous sense of humor. Her family meant everything to her. She was a very selfless person, and always put everyone else first without a second thought or complaint. Even as her health declined, she stayed optimistic and matter of fact, deflecting attention or worry.

Charlie, John and Debbie I’m so sorry to read about your mom’s death! She was such a beautiful person and always made me feel welcomed to the family!

Now she is with the man she so truly loved. She is not in pain and she will always be in your hearts.

No matter what you do or where you go, she will always be watching over you. She will always be by your side!❤️

- Dolores Drabner

We loved Aunt Mavis. She was one of Mom's favorite people to spend time with. Uncle Charlie and Aunt Mavis would visit us or we would visit them whenever occasion allowed us to be in the same city. I am reminded of something Elder Uchtdorf said, our destiny is not everlasting endings. Rather, we can look forward to everlasting beginnings. That brings me comfort, especially knowing Mavis may be reunited with loved ones who preceded her in leaving this world, most notably her loving husband, Charlie who I am sure is playing a round of golf or two every day.
