Mickey Melvin Coult

1947 ~ 2022

Mickey was the first-born child to Melvin & Elayne Coult.

Mickey is survived by: Daughter Courtney (Scott) Rasband and grandchildren, Davis, Cameron, Elle and Eden; Brothers Jack and Terry and Sister Wanda.

Mickey graduated from Olympus High and served in the United States Navy.

Growing up Mickey loved exploring the unmapped areas of Southern Utah as a boy scout and playing high school football. Mickey’s passion simply said was cars. He enjoyed driving cars, watching car races, and knowing all things car related. When he wasn't working with cars, he could be found fishing- usually fly fishing. Work within the auto industry was his career until his eye sight was taken away from him slowly by Retinitis Pigmentosa. The disease over time resulted in almost total blindness. While blind, he took a memorable trip to Colorado to ski with a guide. For many years he also had the loving companionship of his seeing eye dog, Thunder. In addition to Thunder, he had many beloved cats. The last year of his life he lived at River Meadows Assisted Living center. There he formed many friendships with staff members and fellow residents which were very meaningful to him. Mickey enjoyed watching NASCAR & College Football or watching his cats play, but was most proud of his grandchildren’s accomplishments.

Graveside services will be held Monday, June 6, 2022 at 10 am at Wasatch Lawn, 3401 S Highland Drive, Millcreek, Utah.
