Patsy Dawn Kunz Kelsch peacefully passed away August 8, 2024 at her home in Bluffdale, Utah surrounded by her family. She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on June 1, 1950 to Morris and Ellen Kunz. Pat was a beautiful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend. She married the love of her life Joseph M. Kelsch on August 25, 1966.

Pat loved her family dearly, whether they were immediate or extended family. No one would be turned away from her home. She was a beautiful seamstress, and crafter. She loved to make blankets and crochet things for the people that she loved. We all felt special to get a "Grandma Pat" blanket. A great listener, always interested in caring for others, Pat was a mother to many, and a friend to all.

Preceded in death by her parents, siblings, daughter-in-law Holly, great grandson Matthias. Pat is survived by her loving husband Joseph, her dear friends V-Anne and Susie as well as her children Joseph (Beverly), Scott (Lynette), Rodney (Jolee), Heather (Rhett), Brandon (Anna, Mindy), Morris (Hazel), Gregory (Elizabeth), Abagail (Mark), Ryan (Dallas, Mary), Patsy, Jennifer (Matthew), Wade (Jamie), Elsa (Chez), and Linsey (Parker). She was very proud of her 93 grandchildren, and 63 great grandchildren.

Guestbook/Condolences

It is with a heavy heart that I reflect on the passing of Aunt Pat, a truly kind and welcoming soul whose warmth touched all who knew her. Aunt Pat was a beacon of kindness, always there with an open door and a warm smile that made everyone feel at home. Her presence brought comfort and joy to our lives, and her absence leaves a void that will be hard to fill.

I hold onto the countless cherished memories of time spent with Aunt Pat, each moment filled with the kindness and love she so freely gave. Her laughter, her thoughtful words, and her ability to make anyone feel special are treasures that I will carry with me forever.

While growing up, I was constantly at Aunt Pat's house. She always made me feel so welcome and was so patient when Abby and I would be loud during one of our many sleepovers. She would come in and tell us to be quiet more than once sometimes and not even raise her voice.

I have such fond memories of her. I will miss her very much.
