Romelia was a woman of deep compassion, generosity, and resilience. She had a heart of gold, always offering kindness, even to those who hurt her. She was devoted to her family, cherishing every moment spent together, whether sharing meals, reminiscing about the past, or showering her nieces and nephews with love and prayers. She also leaves behind her great-grandchild Armando Isaías Garcia, as well as many cherished cousins, nieces, nephews, and their children. Romelia is also survived by many friends that were close to her heart, that grew to be part of her family.

Romelia was preceded in death by her siblings Maria De Refugio Garza and Rolando Garza; her parents Roman Garza Guajardo and Cecilia Garza Salazar; her brother Roman Garza Salazar; her nephew James Otoniel Garza; her great niece Emily America Ortiz Chacon; and her grandchild Rafael Luis Diaz Garza.
