Directions to ViewingSergio “Fred” Talavera passed away peacefully on November 27th, 2021. He was born on May 11, 1936 to Sergio Talavera and Laura Rospigliosi de Talavera in Peru.
He was a wonderful father, grandfather, and brother. We love him and will miss him very much.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, December 4th from 11:00 to 12:30 PM followed by a graveside service at 1:00 PM at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. Dimple Dell Rd. (10600 S.), Sandy.

This must be so awful for your entire family. Your father, grandfather was loved by so many and his passing has left a great hole in all our hearts. This is a difficult time for all of you. My sympathy for the loss of a great man. He had a smile that lite up the world, the kindest heart, a gentle man, the politest manners, the kindest word, a humble giant. He loved his family. I’ve been thinking of Fred for sometime. Wondering what became of him.
Sad to find his obituary. M y sincere condolences to his family. I worked with Fred at
Salt Lake County helping him with his projects. We became good friends.
When I lost my husband he called to let me know he was coming to see me at 5:00 pm.
I was here waiting for him but didn’t show up. I called him to let him know I was home. I
Made sure to be here at 5:00 & I really was. He insisted I wasn’t & was so angry. . Don’t know if his watch was wrong. He mentioned his daughter Polly quite often. May he be at peace with Jesus.
