Sharon Warr James, 76, passed away on July 3rd, 2021. Born March 17, 1945, to Joseph Ray Warr and Maxine Bendixsen. She married Gordon James on June 1, 1974, in West Valley City, UT. After 44 years of marriage, he preceded her in death. She was sealed to Gordon and her children for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple.

Mom's love was Football first, Gordon second, Her grandchildren third and finally her children (and if you ask each of them individually she loved them more than their siblings). She never missed a Nascar race, a Utah Jazz Basketball game, but especially a Denver Broncos game whether it was live, on TV or recorded to watch later. She was a mom to everyone and a friend to many.

She is survived by her children Mitchell (Brandi), Matthew (Angee), Angela and Roger (Kristi). Her grandchildren Airabella, Zaquery, Samuel, Connor, Kael, Logan, Ryleigh, Konaire, McKayla, Arikka, Shannon and Derek. Her very very special friend Cindy Coleman. Her sister Jeannette Wimmer, brothers Gary and Parley Warr. Many nieces and nephews and friends.

We will all miss her dearly.

There will be a viewing held Thursday, July 8, 2021 from 6-8 pm at Larkin Mortuary, 260 E South Temple Salt Lake City, UT. Funeral Services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 2250 Piney Dr., Big Piney, WY on Saturday July 10, 2021 at 11:00 am. A viewing will be held from 10 -10:45 am prior to the funeral services at the church.

Interment will be at the Plainview Cemetery, Big Piney, WY where dad has been impatiently waiting for her.

    Guestbook/Condolences

I was very sad to hear that Sister James left this life but I know she looking down on her family from heaven. My heart goes out to Roger and the rest of the family. When I think of Roger's mom, kindness and a smile is what comes to mind.

    Mitch, Brandi and Bella,
My prayers go out to your family during this difficult time. Saying goodbye to your parent is never easy and you're never ready no matter how prepared you think that you are. Just take comfort knowing that she is with her husband once again. Know that we love all of you and are here for you guys if you need anything.

Sharon was one of the most cheerful people I have ever met. Blessed to have known her and have her and Gordon for neighbors. Prayers and condolences to her family.

I was so sad to hear of Sharon’s passing. She was a good friend . We worked together in Primary for many years and enjoyed one another’s company. I’m sad I won’t be able to attend her services today. May you be comforted at this difficult time.
