THELMA MAE HAUSER PICKENS born August 24, 1924, to Emil and Dora Hauser, passed December 22, 2023. She is at peace and rejoining her husband Joe, the love of her life.

Thelma (Skipper) was an incredible seamstress, an avid bowler for many years, a frequent world traveler, and loved the game of CRAPS - - 7 come 11!! She was also a passionate card player with family and her card ladies. Always singing a catchy song while playing, but never missing a trick.

She had a deep love for family and friends, and she was an amazing example for her 4 kids - Jolene M. Davis (Michael deceased), Pamela Jukes (Steven), Kathleen Hart (Stephen), Leonard Jay Pickens (Erin).12 Grandkids, 31 Great Grandkids, and 23 Great Great Grandkids.

Here's to our MOM and Best Friend, her memories will last forever.

A special "THANKS" to Copper Creek Senior Living for their kindness and compassion.

Guestbook/Condolences

Here’s to the most wonderful incredible woman we have ever known. Skipperdoodle will be missed by all of her family, friends, & acquaintances. We laughed, we cried, we celebrated & it didn’t matter what the occasion was, Skipperdoodle was there with us right in the middle enjoying herself. She was definitely one of a kind. Bowling, cards, & her family were the joys of her life.
