1948 ~ 2025
Timothy James Severe, age 77, passed away on December 22, 2025 in Holladay Utah. He was born on October 31, 1948 in Salt Lake City Utah to James and Lorraine Severe.
He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War from 1967-1971. He was a boiler man on the USS Rowan DD-782. Following his service, Timothy worked as a locksmith for over 40 years, a career that reflected his skill, dedication, and strong work ethic.
Timothy enjoyed fishing, hunting, and working on cars. In his later year his focused turned more towards his family and grandkids. He loved spending time with them and would do anything for them. He especially loved watching and attending his grandchildren’s sporting events and was always proud to support them in everything they did. He loved joking around with people and making them laugh. He also enjoyed watching old westerns and game shows.
Timothy was known for his hands-on nature and his love of spending time doing the things he enjoyed most.
Timothy is survived by his loving wife JaNean Severe, daughter, Monica Alldredge (Ian), his sons, Corey Severe, Jeremy Severe, Ryan Severe and Bowdie Severe, his sisters, Melody Hills, Wendy Hills (David) his grandchildren Talon Alldredge, Kyrie Alldredge, Ella Severe, Jace Severe, Reyna Severe, Skyler Severe, Brandt Severe and his great-grandchild Sawyer Severe.
A viewing will be held on Monday, January 5, 2026 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Larkin Mortuary 3688 W 12600 S Riverton, Utah 84065.
Funeral services will take place the following day at Larkin Mortuary, Tuesday, January 6, 2026, with a viewing from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. and the service beginning at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow at the Utah Veterans Cemetery, 17111 S 1700 W Bluffdale, Utah 84065.
