Deborah Chytraus Hansen, our daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother, Aunt and friend, passed away on August 12, 2016 at the age of 49, joining her father Clark and sister Stephanie.
Debbie was born June 4, 1967 in Murray, Utah to Clark and Jolene Chytraus. Debbie was extremely bright and excelled in her schooling. She attended Fortuna and Oakdale elementary, Union Middle School, and graduated from Hillcrest High School in 1985. She enjoyed working as an underwriter in the mortgage profession. She always put her heart and tireless energy into her work, hobbies and family. She was an immaculate housekeeper and enjoyed making everything beautiful. Holidays were an event to showcase her cooking and decorating skills. She loved shopping and traveling with her family to Disneyland, New York, Lake Powell, and Sturgis. She loved her children and grandchildren, and always wanted what was best for them. She had a kind and generous heart, and always tried to be helpful to anyone in need.
She is survived by her daughter, Brittany Reynolds (David), son Jake Hansen, grandchildren Keyton, Harley, and Athena, mother Jolene, sister Rachael Murdoch (Brett), and brother Bart.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 17th at 11:00 a.m. at the Sandy Utah Crescent Stake Center, 10945 South 1700 East. A viewing will be held Tuesday, August 16 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 S.) in Sandy and on Wednesday from 10-10:45 am prior to the service. Interment will follow at Mt. View Memorial Estates, 3115 East 7800 South.
