Tulikaki Ki Vaiola Fangupo Koloamatangi passed away in Salt Lake City, Utah on November 14, 2022. He was born in Tonga on June 4, 1958 to Sione Movete Koloamatangi and Paea Fangupo. He married Lea'aelopa Koloamatangi on January 4, 1982 and then was sealed in the Tonga Temple on September 29, 1994. They resided in Fatumu, Tonga to raise their family. Together they had four children Tevita, Mackenzie, Paea and Tupou Koloamatangi. In December 2016 Tulikaki moved to the USA. In 2019 he married his second wife Mele Tu'utau in Salt Lake City, Utah where they lived.
Tulikaki loved his children and grandchildren very much. He is known for being the life of the party and it was very important to him to live life to the fullest. He was survived by his first wife Lea'aelopa Koloamatangi and children Tevita Koloamatangi and wife Fololia, Mackenzie Koloamatangi and wife Elisa, Paea Koloamatangi and Tupou Koloamatangi; his grandsons Sione Movete and Kalisitiane Koloamatangi; his second wife Mele Tu'utau; his siblings Seini Lavulo, Mele Ofa Napaa, Asiata Masima, Haisini Naufahu, Senita Naufahu, Kalatoni Naufahu and many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. Tulikaki is proceeded in death by his parents Sione Movete Koloamatangi and Paea Fangupo and his siblings Holo Masima, Sione Masima and Moana Masima. The service for Tulikaki will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Salt Lake City, UT. The funeral service will be held from 8AM - 1PM with the burial to follow at 2 PM at The Sandy City Cemetery.
