The exciting moments of pregnancy have turned to sorrow and heartfelt loss with the death of our baby boy, William Jay Sumsion on May 6, 2023. He passed away in his mothers womb at 25 weeks old.
Our family was not prepared to lose our miracle boy so soon, but we are eternally grateful for his impact in our lives. After a long struggle with infertility and IVF, his parents Kevin and Joanna were overjoyed to welcome William into their family. His siblings were ecstatic at their new baby brother and are taking this loss incredibly hard.Though William did not get the opportunity to be with his family on this earth, his brief life changed the lives of those he touched forever.
William is survived by his loving parents, Kevin and Joanna, his siblings, Vespertine, Amari, Emma, Paul, and Cameron, his grandparents, Jody Keys, and Floyd and Renee Sumsion, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Jay Keys.
Graveside services will be held at 2PM on Friday, May 12, 2023 at Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South) in Sandy, Utah.
