Frequently Asked Questions

Does Larkin Mortuary serve non-LDS families and all religions?

Yes — Larkin Mortuary serves every family regardless of religious tradition or none. We coordinate Latter-day Saint (LDS) services with bishop coordination, dedication of the grave, and family prayers, AND we coordinate Catholic, Protestant, Evangelical, Eastern Orthodox, Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist, Hindu, interfaith, humanist, and secular memorial services with the same care. Services can be held at the church, synagogue, mosque, or temple of your choice, at our facilities, at community event centers, at graveside, in private homes, or at any meaningful outdoor location. Non-religious celebrations of life, military services, and culturally specific ceremonies are all welcome.

Can Larkin coordinate a service at a non-LDS church or venue?

Yes. We coordinate services at Catholic parishes, Protestant churches, Eastern Orthodox cathedrals, synagogues, mosques, Buddhist temples, Hindu temples, Unitarian congregations, and community event centers throughout Northern Utah. We can also host services at our own chapel, at graveside, in private homes, or at outdoor venues. Just tell us what your family is planning and we'll handle the logistics.
