Relissa G. Anderson is a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer with a passion for providing dignified and respectful care to grieving families. She earned her Bachelor's degree in History from the University of Utah in 2013 and, after an eight-year career in retail, chose to transition to a full-time career in the funeral industry. In 2023, Relissa graduated with a degree in Mortuary Science from Salt Lake Community College, where she now teaches part-time as an adjunct professor in the same program.
Her interest in funeral service began at the age of thirteen when she toured a funeral home with a church group, witnessing firsthand the dignity and care provided to families during their most difficult moments. This experience sparked her interest in the technical side of funeral service, especially restorative art, embalming, and cosmetics.
Relissa is the youngest of five siblings and resides in Salt Lake City, Utah. She enjoys spending time with her family and her beloved Irish Wolfhound, Chaplin. Her hobbies include golf, sewing, smoking food on her Traeger grill, blacksmithing, and continuing her study of history.
