Joshua Hunter began working with Larkin Mortuary in August of 2007 as a funeral service intern. Josh is a first-generation funeral director… his father and two brothers are pharmacists… and Josh always planned on being a pharmacist as well. However, Josh’s older brother worked for a funeral home to get himself through pharmacy school, and it was through his shared experiences of compassion and service that Josh was introduced to the funeral industry. Josh appreciates how rewarding it can be assisting individuals step by step through the entire process of planning and executing a celebration of life for their loved one. Josh was introduced to Larkin Mortuary and the Larkin family through his mother’s distant cousin… a previously retired funeral director who also worked with Larkin Mortuary. Josh has a great appreciation for Larkin Mortuary and the Larkin family… Good people who strive to provide genuine care and service for the community.
