It is with saddened hearts that we said goodbye to our wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother Janice Lee Harwood (87) Sandy, UT. Janice passed away peacefully on Tuesday afternoon of age-related illness with her husband and son by her side. She was deeply loved and cherished by all who knew her. Janice led a long and fulfilling life and will be forever missed.

She held multiple positions in the church but most loved teaching the younger children in Primary. She also loved working in her yard and feeding the deer and other wildlife. She always had a kind heart and soul and was welcoming to all. Born August 24, 1936, to Lloyd Noble and Dora Dean Eubanks in Whittier, California.

She is survived by her husband Bruce and sons Colby (Karen) and Devin, daughter-in-law Leala as well as her sister Stacey and brothers Larry and Harold (Monkey)Eubanks. Janice was preceded in death by her parents and son Curtis and younger sisters Adrienne and Mona (Andy).

You were the glue that held us together. We will all miss you. Many thanks to the nurses and staff at Active Hospice.

Dear Harwood family, I was so saddened by the passing of Janice. I know her health declined in recent years so I hope she is now at peace. A beautiful soul is gone.

Dear Bruce and Family:
Janet Hood just notified us of Janice' passing. We are saddened by her loss, she was such a sweet and precious soul. The Obituary picture of her speaks volumes of the person that she was and is now in the Spirit world.
Louise and I will always cherish the years that we were your home teachers and Louise' 21 years as her visiting teacher. She was always such a pleasure to be around and visit with.
Bruce, we mourn with you. We know that our time is near. We look forward to our next Estate but dread the loss that the survivor, like you, is experiencing at this time. We love and pray for you and your family.

Janice was a light to this world...as is Bruce. I first met Janice when she came to my daughter's service project for "Operation Smile" years ago in probably 2011-12? I remember this sweet and delightful woman who didn't know us at all but came and donated generously to the cause. Then I later found out she was our neighbor down the street on Wasatch and it was such a pleasure to get to know her and Bruce. When you moved away we were so sad but tried to keep in touch over the years at least on birthdays. What a beautiful woman inside and out. She was such an example of grace, beauty, kindness and charity. She will be truly missed. She is home now and free from all the pain and suffering. Bruce our hearts are with you and your sweet family at this time. We love you and you are all in our thoughts and prayers. Love, The Hoods
