Janet Patricia, Pat, Mom, Aunt Patsy, and Grandma Pat are the many names Janet Patricia (Larch) Macdonald went by during her life. She passed away July 4th, 2018 at the age of 86 at her home in Chandler Arizona. She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah to Denzil Fredrick and Zelpha Murm (Martinsen) Larch on February 9, 1932. Pat's mother died when she was 8 years old. Her father remarried Mildred (Palmer) Larch and together they raised her to adulthood.
She married her high school sweetheart, Jerome A. Macdonald on August 12, 1949. They were later sealed in the Los Angeles LDS Temple on June 11, 1969. Together they raised three daughters and two sons in San Diego, California. She was a Real Estate broker by trade and sold homes throughout San Diego County.
Pat is survived by her children; Cynthia, Jamee (Glenn), daughter in law Dina, John(Sharon), Jeri Ann(Chad), 12 grandkids, 35 great grandkids and 10 great great grandkids. She is also survived by her sisters Sherron and Carol.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Jerry, her son Jeffrey, son-in-law Bob, grandson Lance, great grandson Lance and her sister Ann (George Fern).
Per her wishes, she will be honored in a graveside service and then interred in the Salt Lake Cemetery, Salt Lake City, Utah 11 AM on July 28th, 2018.
