William Thirl Marsh (Bill) passed away May 27, 2018 incident to "Mileage." He was born March 20, 1935 to M. Thirl and Mary Elggren Marsh.
He graduated from East High School in 1953 and married Cynthia Lou Miller in 1955, marriage later solemnized in the Jordan River Temple February 19, 1983. They were blessed with five children Jeffrey (Kathie), David (Debbie), Michael (TBA), Christine Short (Doug), Craig (Laurie), 19 grandchildren and 26 Ω great grandchildren.
He had a love of cars and was always learning how to fix them, build them, or "supe" them up. He owned and operated his own Auto Repair Shop on 33rd south in Salt Lake City for many years known as Bill's Auto Service.
He loved his family and made many good friends with his business and otherwise.
He is survived by his wife, children, and siblings, Grant (Edie), Ralph (Judy), Paul (LuJean), MaryLynne Sargent (Gary), brother-in-law Bob Miller (Rosemary), and sister-in-law Cathy Thomas.
Preceded in death by his parents and a great grandson.
His family will miss him, and will ever be grateful for the infinite memories he spent a lifetime creating.
A viewing will be held at the Sunriver 2nd Branch chapel in St. George Utah, on Wednesday May 30th from 11am ‚ 1pm.
Funeral service will be Thursday May 31st at 12pm in Sandy, Utah at the Sandy Utah Crescent Stake Chapel at 10945 S. 1700 E. Viewing from 10am ‚11:30am. Interment at Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South), Sandy, Utah.
