Nancy Carol Woodruff

1949 ~ 2016

Our beloved mother Nancy Carol Woodruff passed away the morning of June 7, 2016 after her courageous battle against cancer. Nancy was born May 26, 1949.

Nancy received her B.S. degree from BYU and Master's Degree from SUU. She was a teacher in the Granite School District for 31 years before retiring. She was a mother to four, but a mother to many. She treated many as if they were her own. She was an avid fan of BYU football and held season tickets for 40 years. We all have fond memories over the years at a game with our mother (grandmother).

She had a kind and tender heart for children and animals. One of her greatest loves was serving people in Africa. She would travel to Ethiopia and Kenya on many occasions to help serve the people and communities she loved. She has made several special friendships from her service missions and has stayed in touch with many of them over the years. Her heart is and always will be in Africa.

Nancy is adored and loved by many. She will be greatly missed but her LOVE and service work will live on through her friends and family.

She was a proud and loving mother to four children, Jennifer Monahan, Andrea Monahan, Allison and (James) Gallegos, Clayton and (Willow) Monahan; Five grandchildren: Christopher Monahan, Taylor Whitmore, Seth Whitmore, Jaydin Gallegos and Xander Monahan. She is also survived by her mother, Anna Lou Woodruff, her siblings Craig and Brent and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
