With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend Peggy Joyce Ball Jackson. She was loved by all. Beloved daughter of Alfred Parker and Jeanette Price Ball. Married Darrel Jackson 1952 in the Salt Lake Temple. Later divorced. She had five children she was devoted to.
Active member Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving as Secretary in Relief Society, Primary, Young Women's, Chorister and Councilor in Primary and Librarian. She worked hard, holding two jobs for many years including: Assistant Manager at Fernwood's, Olympus Medical Clinic and for the State of Utah for 21 years.
Preceded in death by her parents, sister Marilyn, two brothers-in-law Jay Fullmer, Warren Anderson, two children, Jeffrey Ray, Paige Joyce Jackson. Survived by sister Bonnie Anderson, children John (Carol) Jackson, Penny Lee (Cort) Lambson, Paula Jo (Rex) Halbeisen, 18 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held Thursday evening, February 23, 2017, at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South), Sandy, where family and friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday February 24, 2017, at the Union Park LDS 6th Ward Chapel, 8060 South 615 East, Sandy, with Bishop Steven Kinghorn officiating. A visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery.
