Naomi Higginbotham Woodbury Grange, age 86, passed away on May 17, 2016. She was born on December 4, 1929 to Elias Lambert Woodbury and Geneva Ione Higginbotham in Salt Lake City. She fought a courageous battle with kidney failure and diabetes
Naomi has a kindness that showed generosity through her many actions. She always felt honored to share her time with the Daughters of Utah Pioneers, and have involvement with activities of the LDS church. Her passion for hobbies was admirable; she could easily stay busy for hours while working in her garden, fixing her house, or making porcelain dolls. Naomi was always very humble about her work life; from Arbach's all the way to her retirement from Albertson's; her guests always remembered her overwhelmingly caring personality.
Survivors include her children; Frankie Cheel (Dan), Howard E. Grange III, Drew Grange (Wanda), Bill Grange (Kathy), nine grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Howard E. Grange Jr., her parents, two sisters, two brothers and one grandchild.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 2:00pm at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E Dimple Dell Rd (10600 S) in Sandy. A viewing will be held on Friday from 6:00 ‚ 8:00pm at the mortuary and on Saturday from 1:00 ‚ 1:45 prior to the service.
