Michael Dono Webster

1947 ~ 2014

Our family lost a wonderful man in the blink of an eye. Mike took us into his arms and made us part of his life so unconditionally and with so much love. On November 5, 2014, Michael Dono Webster left so suddenly and without warning to rest in the arms of his loving Heavenly Father. He had so many plans; but the Lord had different plans for him.

Mike was born on September 12, 1947 in Cedar City, Utah to Dono and Colleen Webster into a family of sisters, Karen (Randy), Cindy (Carey), Sharon deceased (Jerry) and Lynnette. Mike served an LDS Mission in West Virginia, Kentucky and Tennessee and then attended Southern Utah University. Mike was a talented artist and beloved teacher, and track and football coach.

Mike was a Mountain Man where his word was his bond. He went out of his way to do what he had to do no matter what. He kept pushing … just one more mountain or stream to cross. He always encouraged everyone in whatever they were doing. He supported their dreams and endeavors. He gave praise so innocently and purely. Mike loved America and the Constitution of the United Stated. He loved the Gospel and he loved his family.

Mike traveled the Country in his truck and touched many lives along the way. His heart was in Southern Utah and the outdoor life of camping, fishing and restoring old cars and trucks.

Mike married his sweetheart Lou. He'd say, "when I leave home, I'm already on my way back to you again." They enjoyed traveling together. Their last day was spent working in the yard and enjoying each other's company.

Mike loved all of his children. He enjoyed long telephone conversations about his hopes and dreams for them. Mike has three children, Candice (Greg), Jonathan (Brandi) and Stephen (Kayla). Mike is also survived by his step-children, Keli (Rich), Kim, Chris (Bryan) and Nique (Shaun).

One of Mike's joys was spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They were his "delight". Everything they did and said was talked about for days. He gave unconditional love to all of them. He was "Grandpa". He leaves behind 10 grandsons, Brandon (Tracy), Jeff, Chris, Jordan, Ty, Anthony, Kobe, Logan, Briggs and Kaysen and 9 granddaughters, CaSaundra (Andrew), Alexandria (Clinton), Jaime (Kevin), Gabrielle, Mia, Maddison, Brooke, Skylee and Alyssa and6 great-grandchildren, Tylee, Taeden, Kayden,Bruce, Lincoln and Liam. They all were the lights in his Life.

Mike is preceded in death by his parents Dono and Colleen, sister Sharon and brother Stephen.
