Born to Marlow and Jacquelyn Dunn Billingsley in Minneapolis, MN, and raised in Missoula, MT.
As a boy, Bill loved spending summers at Flathead Lake, MT. He spent his winters snow skiing. He served an LDS mission in Roanoke, VA and was an active member of the LDS Church.
Bill married the love of his life, Sherry Little Billingsley on September 14, 1979.
Bill graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana in 1980. He joined the US Navy. Bill and Sherry enjoyed serving in Sicily, Italy and China Lake CA. Bill was currently employed at the U of U in Campus Design and Construction.
20 years ago, after being notified of a family history of heart disease, Bill began training and competing in many local races, marathons, and triathlons. He had the opportunity to represent the USA Triathlon team in Australia, as well asa winter triathlon in Finland, and an off road triathlon in Spain.
Bill and Sherry were blessed with 4 amazing children. Bill is survived by his loving wife Sherry, father Marlow and children: Aimee (Ryan) Fox, Alexia Williams, Benjamin (Kamilie) Billingsley and Cassidy Billingsley, and 7 grandchildren. He is also survived by his8 siblings, and is preceded in death by his beautiful mother, Jacquelyn and 1 sibling.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Oct. 3, 2014 at 11am in the Sandy Crescent Park 3rd Ward, 11350 South 1300 East with a viewing prior from 9:30-10:45am. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens. The family would welcome donations to assist with medical and funeral expenses at any U S Bank in Bills name.
