Fern Dolores J. Watson Allred passed away peacefully on November 21, 2013 in Lehi, Utah at home surrounded by her loving family. Dolores was born May 1, 1930 to Elmer L. and Edith Pond Johnson in Los Angeles, CA. She was the oldest of 3 children.
Dolores was devoted and steadfast in her faith, serving 20 years in the relief society and participating in numerous choirs. Mom loved her family so much, creating a deep desire to have the Savior in their lives. She was very proud of her heritage and posterity, spending countless hours doing genealogy work.
Dolores was proud of the time spent at the University of Utah and her Sorority, Lambda Delta Sigma.
Preceded in death by her husbands, Gary Kent Watson and Owen A. Allred, children, Kent Roger Watson, Cindy Sue Watson Thompson, and Joseph Aaron Watson.
Survived by her children, David Gary Watson, Dwayne Kent Watson, Cherie Dee Darger, CarolLee Darger, Geoffrey William Watson, Sheila Marie Roller, MaryAnn Hess, Tanya Kay Henderson, 120 grandchildren, over 200 great-grandchildren, 7 great great-grandchildren, and brothers, Gary L. Johnson, Brent Roger Johnson.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, November 30, 2013 at 12:30 PM in the RCA building, 1224 West 16580 South Bluffdale, Utah. A viewing will be held Friday, November 29 from 6-8 PM at Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road(10600 South) in Sandy and Saturday from 10-12 at the RCA Building prior to the service. Interment will be held at Taylorsville City Cemetery.
