Kimberly Hansen Spiecha

1966 ~ 2014

My beautiful soul mate Kimberly passed away unexpectedly, yet peacefully in her sleep and entered into the warm embrace of our Heavenly Father on April 15, 2014.

Kimberly was born May 15, 1966 to Lloyd Grover and Barbara (Ellertson) Hansen at Cottonwood Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Kimberly attended Skyline then Cottonwood High School graduating in 1984. Kimberly attended the University of Utah where she was a member of the Pi Beta Phi sorority. She also studied and lived in London, England with the BYU Study Abroad Program.

Kimberly had a passion for travel having been to Europe many times, the Middle East, Asia and many other parts of the world. Kimberly loved spending time with her loved ones at the family ranch above Oakley. Her favorite place in the world was her beloved Kaanapali Beach in Maui, Hawaii where she spent summers as a teenager and traveled to hundreds of times.

Similar to her father Lloyd, Kimberly had a knack for business and was an entrepreneur in her own right. She started several small businesses including Canyon Downhill, Express Blinds and numerous other start-up businesses.

Kimberly's greatest joy was the birth of her son, Mark, from her first marriage on May 12, 1989. Kimberly was married to the love of her life, Michael Spiecha on June 3, 1995 and shared 19 incredible, love-filled years until her passing.

Kimberly was fun, gregarious and most of all, Kimberly never hesitated to express her love for friends and family. Mark and Mike Spiecha invite you to join together to say goodbye and show Kimberly how much she was loved and how many lives she touched.
