Margo Diana Foulger Weaver

1940 ~ 2017

Margo Diana Foulger Weaver, our beloved mother, grandmother and friend passed away due to complications related to cancer on February 9, 2017. She was 76 years old.

Margo was born on May 23, 1940 in Mt. Kisco, New York to Orville Merle Foulger and Rachel Elizabeth Braegger Foulger. She was the younger sister to Dorothy, her best friend throughout her life. She grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah and attended East High School. She graduated from the University of Utah with her Bachelor's degree. She served a full-time mission for the LDS Church in the Northern Germany Mission. After returning home, she attended BYU and earned her Master's degree. She married Richard Alan Weaver in the Salt Lake City Temple on June 2, 1967.

Margo lived in Provo, Utah where she raised her three children. She was very dedicated to her kids and spent a lot of time volunteering at Provost Elementary school where she served as room mom, PTA president and later came to work as a teacher's aide working in special education. Provost was a second home to Margo and she considered the staff and kids part of her family.

Margo loved her family dearly and was a dedicated mom and a super grandmother. To say that she loved and adored her grandchildren would be an understatement. She started many wonderful traditions, like Thanksgiving every year at Snowbird, talking bears, and floating boats at 4th of July. She didn't just watch in the fun, she was an active participant. When the grandkids slid down the stairs on a mattress, so did she, despite her children trying to stop her.

Margo never said an unkind word about anyone, was generous with her time and money, and was always serving others. Margo truly enjoyed her church callings and was a dedicated disciple of Jesus Christ. We were blessed to learn many valuable lessons from her, most notably her honesty, giving selfless service, working hard, and exhibiting genuine kindness to others.

Margo was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Dorothy Jean Foulger Birrell, and her son-in-law Mark Larsen. She is survived by her three children: Jennifer Larsen, Teresa Landers (Merrill), and Greg Weaver (Michelle). She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren: Nate, Allie and Zach Larsen; Noah, Tori, Paige and Levi Landers; and, Brinley, Logan, Ethan and Cannon Weaver.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 18th at 10:00am at the LDS Church on 1498 East 800 South, Provo, Utah 84606. Interment will follow at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park in Salt Lake City, where she will be buried next to her sister, Dorothy.
