Carrol Lambert Wells

1932 ~ 2017

Carrol Lambert Wells, 84, passed away on April 2, 2017. Carrol was born in Monroe, Utah on December 21, 1932 to Herald Lambert and Emily Beal. She grew up in Spring Canyon, Utah. Carrol married Robert Edward Wells on September 14, 1956 in Wellington, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple.

Carrol devoted her time to raising her five children. She loved, supported and cared for them, and her grandchildren. She shared her sewing skills with her daughters. She also shared her love of music. She encouraged her children to sing and play instruments. Carrol was a great cook. Family members have many fond memories of delicious desserts.

She also had a love for animals. Over the years, there were many dogs, cats, and rabbits that were dear to her. She was grateful to have her little dog Minnie with her in her final days.

Carrol was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She cherished the time she spent serving in the temple.

She was preceded in death by her husband Bob; her parents Herald and Emily Lambert and her sister LaRue Lambert McWorter. She is survived by her children, Roxane Wells, Kim (Charles) Stewart, Cindy Jensen, Clay (Amy) Wells and Shauna (Brett) Tea; thirteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 8 at 12:00 noon at the Rose Park Center Ward building, 868 North Star Crest Drive, SLC 84116. Friends and family are invited to visit at the church Friday evening, April 7 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and at the church on Saturday morning from 11:00-11:45 a.m. prior to the service. Interment at the West Jordan City Cemetery, 7800 South 1300 West, West Jordan 84088.
