Our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother Helen Anderson passed away May 27, 2014 from causes incident to age. She was born to Melvin and Blanch Riding on October 5, 1924 in Mammoth Utah. Married Ned Werrett, later divorced. Married Wallace Peterson, later divorced. She then married the love of her life, Gotthard "Andy" Anderson on May 27, 1967, later solemnized in the Manti LDS temple. Active in the LDS Church and held many leadership positions. Helen worked in the transportation business until she retired. She was an active member of the SLC Moose Lodge. During retirement Andy and Helen travelled extensively throughout the US with the Moose Camper Club. In 1996 they built a home in Delta on the shore of the Gunnison Bend Reservoir, where they lived for the last 18 years. In 47 years, they were never apart. Helen was preceded in death by her beloved husband, parents, brothers Scott, Jay and LaCohn, sister Mary, daughters Rosemary and Julie, sons Scott, Steve and Lane, grandson Cary Peterson, and granddaughter Karyl Thompson. Survived by daughters Ann (Don) Fay, Kathy (Michael) Brown, and Cher (Greg) Morgan, sons Don (Paula) Peterson, Wally Peterson, Dennis (Kaylene) Anderson and Darrell Anderson, also numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank the Millard Care and Rehab, Sandy Health and Rehab, and One Care Hospice for their loving care.

With Helen's passing this world has lost a truly rare soul, one who loved unconditionally and completely, who never hesitated when family was in need, always kind and never judging others. Helen was the epitome of all that is good and caring in a person and she will be greatly missed and fondly remembered. Enjoy the dance with Andy, mom.
