Mervyn "Don" Chief Eagle, (58), died on December 3, 2018 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Don was born on April 12, 1960 in Pine Ridge, South Dakota to George Chief Eagle and Marcella Dreaming Bear. He attended Olympus high School before joining the military. He was a member of the Dakota Sioux tribe. He worked in the construction industry for most of his life and was a veteran that served in the United States Army.
Don is survived by his companion Debra T. Brogger, her Daughter Crystal Brogger and two grand-children David and Corian.
Don is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers (Delano Chief Eagle and Elvis Chief Eagle) and sister.

Funeral services will be held at Noon, December 7, 2018 at Larkin Sunset Gardens (1950 E 10600 South, Sandy, UT 84092)
